As part of our commitment to supporting the development and success of our youth athletes, Santa Cruz City Soccer Club (SCCSC) is proud to announce they will be offering scholarships for graduating seniors. These scholarships are designed to assist players in pursuing higher education, whether it be through junior college, four-year universities, technical programs, or trade schools. We believe in investing in the future of our players and recognizing their dedication to both their academic and athletic pursuits.

Scholarship Details:

We will be awarding $3,000 in scholarship funds for the graduating class of 2026. There will be one scholarship valued at $1,000 and four scholarships valued at $500 each. The selection process will be overseen by the executive board.

Eligibility Criteria:

To be eligible for the SCCSC scholarship, applicants must meet ALL of the following criteria:

1. Graduating seniors in the class of 2026.

2. Must have been a member of SCCSC, either as a competitive or recreational player for the last three years.

3.Complete an online application.

4. Have a 2.0 GPA or better

5. Deadline to apply is June 21, 2026

Application Process:

Applicants will be required to complete an online form, providing the necessary information outlined above. The executive board will review all applications and select the recipients based on academic achievements, extracurricular involvement, and a personal statement. The scholarships will be awarded directly to the selected players to support their higher education expenses.

The SCCSC Scholarship Program aims to recognize the dedication and accomplishments of our graduating players while supporting their academic pursuits beyond high school. By investing in their future, we hope to empower them to achieve their goals and continue to make positive contributions to their communities. We believe that by offering these scholarships, we can foster a culture of academic excellence and athletic achievement within our club.
